Hello Guys,

I just started a used car sale business. I try to buy cheap with clean title cars from auction and than sell them on the street to make couple hundred bucks.

I joined websites like COPART.COM & SALVAGEDIRECT.COM to try my luck finding a clean title car in those websites for cheap.

My question is, ON salvage direct.com, pretty much 99% cars has salvage title. The car year varies from 2000 to 2011. I just don’t understand, when people buy all these cars with salvage title;
1. What do they do to the salvage title cars?
2. How do they sell the salvage title cars?

Anyone who is a dealer and buys salvage title cars for re-sale purpose would like to share this phenomena?

I buy them with low miles, when they get here i take pictures, you need 4 1 from every corner
and send the car to the Body shop , i save every invoice from used parts and they need to have the vin number from the old car like from junk yards
i save every invoice from new parts once the car is finish , take more pictures and go to DMV
you need to fill the Application to change the title from salvage to rebuild 2 or 3 weeks later you get the appointment day, take the car to dmv pay the fee in FL is 0.00 for the inspection and new title

they are going to check that all the parts are legal no stolen parts in the vehicle, vin numbers from engine and tranny need to mach

with the new rebuilt title you can sale the car don’t do all this for a hig miles car only low miles
example i did 2 pt cruisers last month both limited with 40k and 50k miles i spend about 600 and 700 in repairs
and sold them for 00 and 00 and i only pay 1200 for each and 250.00 to bring from va to fl
